What's the best gift you've ever given or received for Mother's Day?
Happy Mother's Day to my wonderful mother!! Here's the front of the card I made for her this year. I usually like to make cards vs. buying them a lot of the time simply because I think it's more meaningful to put your own personal touch on them. I thought this was very fitting to give to my mother. It's so true! I also picked out some new bamboo cutting boards and Bath and Body Works Enchanted Orchid body lotion for some gifts for the best momma in the world. She needed some new cutting boards and that's her favorite body lotion she had just run out of. What we have planned for today is making some lemon lavendar cupcakes from a cupcake-making kit I received as a gift and hopefully getting out with my dad for a family picnic this evening. Have to enjoy this beautiful weather while we can! We've had a lot of great moments together over the years. Too many to count! Many memories made, many more to come. You even introduced me to what has become one of my greatest passions: cooking delicious and wholesome foods. Thank you for making us homemade meals as I grew up. And thank you for always inspire me to create more yummy, healthy dishes to share with the world. You are my biggest role model, my greatest supporter, and really do have a heart like no other. Wishing all the great moms out there a very Happy Mother's Day! You do the work of a million men and have hearts of gold. I can only aspire to be half the mom my mother has been to me, should I choose to have a child of my own in the future. Have any special plans for Mother's Day?

Looks like you have a beautiful relationship with your mother. I bet today was fun. My mom is gone, but she was the best!
